Bringing Out the Scissors...Vacation Time!
Of course it will be the Good Scissors! Yes, these are my scissors.
I finally said enough is enough and I am taking 3 weeks vacation! What are you going to do on your vacation, you ask? Anything this girlie wants to do. I spent the morning in my sewing room. BLISS! I am working on a new design for a bag. BLISS! I think I have the pattern just the way I want it.
Now comes the hard part. What fabric do I want to use? This is not my stack of fabric but I am so loving the Spring colors in this. I found this fabric at the Fabric Shoppe on Etsy. Hmmm, me thinks I should pop back over there. They really do have a beautiful selection of fabric and great prices.
Big vacation hugs, Sue

O, aren't you going to have fun...3 whole weeks. Amazing. Can't wait to find out what all you have planned beyond this bag.
ReplyDeleteOne day you can sleep till 3:00, eat ANYthing you want, take a hot, bubbly bath with a pretty stool beside the tub, holding chocolate and blackberry wine. Then, in your fluffy, white, good smelling robe, curl up on the sofa, put on a fabulous movie and just ......dream.....*sigh
Hooray for you, three whole weeks! I can't wait to see what you make with all of your pretty fabric! I wish I could sew...I have plans to learn and I really envy those that can! Make sure you show us the bag!

Hope you have a great vacation, and all spent doing the things you love!!! I love all those prints, my fave is the green paisley, it would be great paired up with the one right under it.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love it!!! I bought fabrics and deco today to make medium sized totes for spring and purses, too!! I never visited the shop you mentioned I will have to. I am making things to start my Etsy back up! Love that you always had ducks! Hubby indulged me when the kids were growing up and I had 6 for years but we had an Acre in the country so it was okay-ha! I love all birds and fowl. HUGS, K
ReplyDeleteOh Dear, don't know if my comment went through or not!! If you get this twice, sorry! I have never visited that Fabric Shop on Etsy but I will. I, too bought some fabric and accessories for making spring Totes and purses today. I am wanting to restock my Etsy shop. I love that you had ducks, too! Hubby indulged me when the kids were growing up and I had 6 for several years and then released to the lake. I love all birds and water fowl. HUGS, Kerrie
