Friends are Like Fabric, You Can Never Have Enough

We have arrived to our vacation destination. We love Maui. We have made this trip a few times and never tire of it. This is truly a paradise. The people are gracious and always hospitable. The pace is slow and you fall right into that pace with ease. You start realizing that this is the way it ought to be. This is a place that you can do “nothing” and still feel like you have done something. You have slowed down, you are taking deep breaths again and feeling like you are 20 years younger. No one is a stranger, everyone is a friend. People are always smiling and of course you are always greeted with, Aloha! Just the word alone makes my heart skip a beat.
Hi. My name is Sue. And the gentleman in my picture is Louie. He was a rescue kitty I found at a Craft show that I was participating in. I have been happily married to my best friend for 22 years. I have two wonderful boys and two beautiful granddaughters. I work full time with retirement right around the corner. I have been crafting for 30 plus years. My first love is sewing. My mother and I do local craft shows. I make handbags and Mom makes the cutest felt items. I hope to turn my crafting into a full-time business after retiring. I find everyday an adventure and I am so blessed that I have a supportive family.
