Some think of Spring as a new beginning. I think of January 1st as a new beginning. It is my time for reflection and growth. Now I don't make resolutions for obvious reasons but there is always room to resolve to be a better person. Over the last few years I have become just a wee bit neglectful of my friends. I have the usual excuses, all legitimate mind you but nevertheless just excuses. So this year I resolve to make more time for my friends.(I see some chick flicks in my future! Hahaha)
This year I also resolve to write more letters. Yes, good old fashioned letters. My heart always skips a beat when I receive a letter in the mail from a friend. Thank you Barbara for keeping letter writing alive and well. I will always cherish your beautiful and inspiring letters.
And I look forward to spending this year with all of you and sharing a few laughs and probably a few tears. Most of all I look forward to the kindness and inspiration that is within each and everyone of you.
